Kingdom Hearts III is finally available on Xbox One. Fans of the franchise been waiting for years for this title, and it finally launched at midnight tonight. This is the first Kingdom Hearts game to hit Xbox One, as all the other titles in the franchise are only available on other platforms like PlayStation and Nintendo.

The title costs $59.99, but you can also buy a physical Deluxe Edition at select retailers. Kingdom Hearts III may not appeal to everyone. It's a linear action role-playing game that combines the universes of various Disney franchises and Final Fantasy. It sounds almost like it shouldn't work, but somehow, it just does, and the franchise has won itself millions of fans across the world. This is the latest entry in this long-running series.

Kingdom Hearts III features Xbox One X enhancements which offer you two options. Either you can go with the "Default" setting which priorities the frame rate and keeps it to a locked 60 FPS during our playthrough, or go with "Stable" which reduces the frame rate down to 30 FPS but keeps the visuals looking extremely crisp. We would recommend going with the Default option because Kingdom Hearts III's combat is fast-paced and requires quick maneuvers, like casting spells. All of this feels quite clunky if Stable in engaged.

Are you a fan of the Kingdom Hearts franchise? Will you pick up Kingdom Hearts III? Let us know. Hopefully this game will offer a proper ending to the long-running storyline.
