Lenovo adds a splash of color to its IdeaPad lineup with latest refresh

Lenovo has introduced the latest refresh to its IdeaPad lineup, and it's full of color and a bit of style. The latest models include the high-end IdeaPad 720s, mid-range IdeaPad 320s, and budget IdeaPad 320.

With its place at the top of the range, the IdeaPad 720s is likely to receive the most attention. Color options are a little less ambitious than its lower-specced cousins, with "Champagne Gold" and "Platinum Silver" being the only options. On the inside, you'll find NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics, up to 16GB of RAM and up to Intel's 7th-generation Core i7 processor. That's alongside a 14-inch FHD 1920x1080 display, precision touchpad, and option Windows Hello-enabled fingerprint reader.

The IdeaPad 320 and 320s are where things start to get a little more colorful. The 320s is available in 14-inch and 15-inch versions, while the 320 comes in 15-inch and 17-inch varieties. Each has options for bright and poppy shells, like "Coral Red" and "Snow White" on the 320s, or "Denim Blue" and "Plum Purple" on the 320. Both can be equipped with up to Intel Core i7 processors.

Here's a look at how the specs stack up between the three:

Flex 5

If a 2-in-1 is more your style, Lenovo is also announcing the Flex 5, which is available in both 14-inch (FHD) and 15-inch (UHD) varieties. As its name suggests, the Flex 5 features a 360-degree hinger that will let you go from a standard laptop setup to tent or tablet modes. Pen support is also on board, along with the option for NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics, up to 16GB of RAM and up to a 7th-gen Intel Core i7 processor.

Lenovo says the new IdeaPad lineup will go on sale starting in June with prices starting at $969 for the 720S, $740 for the 320S, and $439 for the 320. As for the Flex 5, look for it to go on sale sometime before the end of May for $720.
