Mail and Calendar updated on Windows 10 desktop and mobile

Update: False alarm on the new features. It turns out that the changelog listed below is from a prior version. This update likely only contains more bug fixes and performance improvements.

Original story: Continuing its streak of frequent updates to Windows 10 core apps, Microsoft is pushing out another update to Mail and Calendar on both desktop and mobile. Coming along in this update is a new setting to set Celsius or Fahrenheit temperature scales in Calendar, along with a helping of bug fixes. Here's the official breakdown of what's new:

  • Added a Calendar weather setting to set Celsius/Fahrenheit temperature scale
  • Fixed top crashes and other bugs

While this is a pretty minor update, it's good to see a changelog included. If version numbers are your thing, the desktop app made the jump from version 6120 to 6121, while the mobile app moves from 6121 to 6131. You can go ahead and grab the latest version of Mail and Calendar from the Windows Store at the link below, and be sure to let us know if you spot any other changes that may have slipped in.
