Metro Exodus is a post-apocalyptic first-person shooter which has garnered a lot of interest in recent months. The game is a sequel to Metro: Last Light which was ported to Xbox One a few years ago. Years after nuclear war devastated Earth, a few survivors still cling to existence beneath the ruins of Moscow. They have struggled against the lethal elements and fought mutated beasts. Now, in Metro Exodus, they must flee the underground in search of a new life in the East.
The story of the game on consoles is quite typical, it's available on both the Xbox and PlayStation stores. However, on PC, it's a different story. The title used to be only on Steam, but Epic Games swooped in and made it exclusive to the Epic Games Store a few weeks before release. It left many with a sour outlook, waiting for availability on further storefronts. While we don't know when it's hitting Steam, we do know that it's coming to the Microsoft Store on June 9.

A listing for Metro Exodus for PC was spotted on the Microsoft Store by "WalkingCat." The release date is listed for exactly when Microsoft's E3 2019 media briefing is, so this leads us to believe that it may be a part of Xbox Game Pass for PC. However, only time will tell. The subscription service may even launch on that day. As always, take it with a grain of salt until we receive official confirmation. The Microsoft Store listing may be an error for all we know.
The Microsoft Store isn't that popular when it comes to game purchases, but it's still another option if you want to avoid purchasing the game through the Epic Games Store. It'll probably be available for $60, and the download stands at roughly 55 GB.
