Lumia 640 XL

An unlocked version of Microsoft's Lumia 640 XL can now be pre-ordered on the Expansys USA site for $274.99. The 5.7-inch smartphone was first announced in March and has launched since that time in the UK, India and other parts of the world.

While no US carrier is currently selling the smartphone, the Lumia 640 XL is supposed to be offered at some point in the near future by AT&T, T-Mobile and MetroPCS. The version that's being sold by Expansys USA supports GSM networks like those used by AT&T, T-Mobile and their subsidiaries.

While you can pre-order the phone now, the Expansys USA site doesn't offer any information on when it will ship to customers. Just a reminder: the phone has a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor inside, along with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a 13MP rear camera and and a 5MP front facing camera. Expansys USA only has the black color version available for sale.
