This week we have no new "AAA" releases on Xbox One, but there are still a few surprises here and there. Notably, Graveyard Keeper is finally launching on the console, and State of Mind stands out due to its art style. With that in mind, here are all the biggest games launching this week, between August 13 and August 17, 2018.

Graveyard Keeper

Graveyard Keeper is the most inaccurate medieval cemetery management simulator of the year. Players build and manage their own graveyard while finding shortcuts to cut costs, expand into entertainment with witch-burning festivals, and scare nearby villagers into attending church. In many ways it's like a business simulator, but you can commit absolutely horrendous crimes like throwing corpses into the river to save plots.

Graveyard Keeper should launch on August 15, priced at $19.99.

Phantom Doctrine

Phantom Doctrine is a turn-based spy thriller set during the Cold War. It's very similar to XCOM 2. The game thrusts the player into a mysterious world of covert operations, counterintelligence, conspiracy, and paranoia. You lead an organization known as "The Cabal" which fights against a global conspiracy when tensions between the United States and Russia are high.

Phantom Doctrine should launch on August 14, priced at $39.99.

State of Mind

State of Mind is a thriller set in a surprisingly realistic depiction of the near future. The world is on the brink due to a lack of resources. Illnesses caused by pollution are prevalent, and crime is out of control. Governments and companies promise remedies through technological progress, but Richard Nolan is one of the few journalists openly criticizing this aggressive development.

State of Mind should launch on August 15, priced at $39.99.

Fall of Light

Fall of Light is an action role-playing game set within a world consumed by darkness. You step into the shoes of Nyx, an old warrior who has embarked on a dangerous journey with his daughter, Aether, to rid the world of evil.

Fall of Light should launch on August 14, priced at $14.99.

Fernz Gate

Fernz Gate is a fantasy role-playing game with pixelated visuals. After waking up in the woods, Alex learns he has somehow ended up in "Fernland", a world dominated by conflict and destruction. Now he must fight monsters, combat the "Overlord", and find his own place in this new world.

Fernz Gate should launch on August 15, priced at $19.99. The game supports Xbox Play Anywhere.
