NBA Live 15

Just as expected, NBA Live 15 is now available to EA Access members for a 6-hour trial. EA Sports' latest NBA game won't officially be available in stores on October 28th in North America, but now EA Access members get to play the game early. I've just installed it on my Xbox One and recorded my first few minutes of gameplay. Interested? Take a look at my first impressions on video!

The game starts with a tutorial. It teaches you the basic controls for shooting, passing, and crossovers to create space for better shots. This is a great idea because it prepares you for your first game.

First impressions

From my first few minutes with the game, I'm undecided about the visuals. The players look great, but there's something about them that don't look real. I think they look a little too shiny. I love the soundtrack, though.

When it comes to the gameplay, I like how responsive the players feel to my control. The bumps and collisions look great as well. You can't just simply run up to the basket if there are several other people blocking the way. Just like in real life, you'll need to set up picks, move the ball around, and perform crossovers or other moves to create openings.

NBA Live 15

I haven't spent much time with NBA Live 15 yet, but I'm definitely going to be playing it until the trial runs out. I'm still not sure if I'm going to buy it yet. If you end up loving the trial for NBA Live 15, you can buy it, and pick up right where you left off. EA Access members get 10% discount. Go check out the trial on your Xbox One and let us know what you think!
