OneNote October update brings new features and fixes to Fast ring Insiders

The October update for OneNote on Windows-10 is now rolling out to Fast ring Insiders. This month's update isn't the most feature-packed ever, but it does bring an important bug fix for high-DPI displays and a handy new feature.

The single big feature addition in this update is the ability to print specific portions of a notebook. Now, you can print a single page, a complete section, or an entire notebook. OneNote also now "acts better than ever" on multiple or high-DPI monitors, and a new setting will let you toggle automatic capitalization for sentences.

Here's a look at all of what's new in the October update:

  • Print sections or entire notebooks: Need an offline copy? No problem. Print a page, a complete section, or an entire notebook for safekeeping.
  • If you have high-DPI or multiple monitors, you'll find OneNote looks and acts better than ever.
  • PDF printouts now look crisp and clear in OneNote for Windows 10, even those that were previously inserted with other versions of OneNote.
  • Take advantage of a new setting. You can decide if you want to automatically capitalize the first word of a sentence.

If you're a Windows Insider, you can get your hands on all of what's new in version 17.8625 of OneNote now. Everyone else should expect this update to roll out more generally later in October.
