One of Ubisoft's most-anticipated new titles is The Division 2, the sequel to the popular first game that launched back in 2016. The Division 2 is a third-person military shooter which tasks you with stopping malicious forces from seizing control of the government in the District of Columbia.

Today, Ubisoft revealed the launch dates for The Division 2's "Private Beta." Only players who have preordered The Division 2 will be able to get guaranteed access from February 7 to February 11, 2019. Other players will have a chance to join the Private Beta by registering on the game's website.

Aside from the release date, Ubisoft revealed a story trailer which features questionable voice acting, but a lot of scenes of brutality and a city plunged into chaos. There are three main factions you have to look out for when it comes to the game, including the beta. The "True Sons" are a paramilitary force that relies on combat expertise and overwhelming firepower to dominate their enemies and expand their territory. The "Hyenas" are a loosely organized gang of opportunistic raiders that prey on struggling civilian encampments through violence and intimidation. Lastly, the "Outcasts" are bitter survivors of a forced quarantine bent on revenge against those who brutally imprisoned them and the society that stood by and let it happen.

The Division 2 launches on all platforms — including Xbox One X — on March 15. Recently, Ubisoft announced that it will exclusively release its games on the Epic Games Store going forward. Many consider this to be a major blow to Steam because "AAA" experiences generate a lot of revenue, much more than the sales of a lot of smaller games combined. However, Epic Games takes a smaller cut so the choice seemed like an easy decision.
