Pokémon Go app PoGo-UWP for Windows 10 Mobile is down once again

The third-party Pokémon Go app PoGo-UWP for Windows 10 Mobile has been disabled once again. The developers behind the app state that an update to Pokémon Go from developer Niantic Labs has broken much of the API that the PoGo-UWP was using.

In a post on the PoGo-UWP GitHub page, the developer states:

Today Niantic forced the update to 0.39 version, which breaks a lot of things API-wise.We decided to disable the game for everyone (app will launch but it will close after a warning popup) because it's not safe now.I know that you guys were waiting to see all the changes that we've been pushing in the last weeks, we really wanted you to see them, but I don't know when we'll be able to have a working API again so I must ask you to keep on waiting. We're sorry for that, but we have no control on API changes. Thanks for your understanding.

The last version of the app was 1.0.29, which was released one month ago on August 26. We will post an update when, or if, PoGo-UWP is playable again.

Thanks to E.Bagge for the tip!
