Strategy shooter 'Void Bastards' blasts onto Xbox and PC on May 29

A few months ago, a game by the name of "Void Bastards" surprised everyone. It looked like as if it was pulled straight from a comic book, but featured surprisingly deep first-person combat. According to Humble Bundle, Void Bastards is "a revolutionary new kind of strategy shooter from the development director of BioShock and System Shock 2." Can you lead misfit prisoners through the derelict spaceships and myriad dangers of the Sargasso Nebula? In order to succeed, you have to master combat, manage ship controls, scavenge supplies, and craft improvised tools.

If you can't wait to get your hands on Void Bastards, you'll be excited to know that it launches on May 29. Many thought that we would have to wait until the holiday season to play this title, but that isn't the case. Keep in mind that it's currently an Xbox One console exclusive, so it's only coming to the console and PC.

Void Bastards looks incredibly unique, and if the title features addictive gameplay which is open to newcomers, Humble Bundle should have a hit on its hands. However, only time will tell. A lot of the most-anticipated games this year have turned out to be disappointments like Anthem.

Are you interested in Void Bastards? What aspect of gameplay appeals to you the most? Let us know. It's unclear if the game will feature Xbox One X support at the moment because no details have been announced. It'll also be a part of Xbox Game Pass so you can try it with your subscription.
