Super Lucky's Tale gets adorable launch trailer

The video showcases the titular hero Lucky, alongside the nefarious Jinx and his mischievous children. The game starts off when Jinx steals a mysterious artifact called the Book of Ages. The Book of Ages contains entire worlds and simple creatures who are no match Jinx's spoiled children. It's up to Lucky, a cute little fox who wants to be a hero, to save the day.

Just like any platformer, you need to run, jump, spin and burrow your way across a wide variety of environments including deserts, castles, forests and much more. The game runs at native 4K and 60 FPS on Xbox One X, so it should look great on Microsoft's upcoming console.

Super Lucky's Tale launches alongside the Xbox One X on November 7, 2017. It's an Xbox Play Anywhere title so if you purchase it on Xbox One or Windows 10, you can play it on the other platform for free. You can pick up where you left off on any device, sharing all saved progress across platforms. However, keep in mind that only the digital copy is Xbox Play Anywhere. If you buy the physical copy you can only play it on Xbox One.

According to the developers, if you want a platformer which appeals to children, be sure to check out the game at retailers. Super Lucky's Tale contains lots of puzzles, colorful characters, and action-packed challenges the whole family should enjoy. Be sure to look out for our review soon.
