Woman Calendar

It's no secret that women face challenges each month and there are solutions out there to help keep on top of everything. Woman Calendar is a Windows Phone app, developed by a small startup in Bulgaria, which aids women in keeping track of their cycle, as well as assisting in the emotional and physical changes that occur. The app is also billed to help men better understand and prepare for such times to arise.

We've previously looked at Woman Calendar a handful of times, but now the app has been bumped to support Windows Phone 8.

Windows Phone Central's Roundup of Apps for the Ladies

While we have touched upon Windows Phone apps that are focused more towards our female audience from time to time, we thought a Roundup of app's for the ladies in the audience was in order.

Granted a lot of our Windows Phone apps appeal to both the men and women in the audience but there are a large selection of apps that cater primarily to the girls. From health apps focuses on women's needs to shopping apps we rustled up a small collection of apps that might appeal to the women Windows Phone users.

As with any roundup, we may have overlooked a particular title that you are rather fond of. This oversight shouldn't reflect poorly on that title, it's just a matter of time and limited space. If we've miss an app, feel free to share your recommendation in the comments.

Woman Calendar - App Spotlight

Men, read no further. This Windows Phone 7 application is for the ladies. Woman Calendar is designed is a feminine calendar designed to track moods, cycles, ovulation and other statistics unique to our lady readers.

Woman Calendar features include:

  • Future period dates, ovulation and fertile days calculation
  • Adjustable period length used for predictions
  • Track twenty one moods (complete with cool looking smilies) and twenty four symptoms
  • Enter notes, track temperature and weight
  • Discreet name and Tile icon

Recent updates to the application includes charting and daily horoscopes. There is a trial version available for Woman Calendar with the full version running $1.99. You can download both here (opens Zune) at the Marketplace.

Update: We just learned from the developer that this app is being discounted to $.99 through the end of May.
