The Intel NUC BOXNUC7PJYH1 mini barebone system is down to $139.99 with code NENIT4 on Newegg. This is a brand new version of the Intel NUC and has never been on sale before. It's still $173 on Amazon and B&H.

NUC stands for Next Unit of Computing, and it represents a small form factor computer created by Intel. This thing is tiny enough to fit in your hand but powerful enough to run even modern games like Rocket League and Minecraft (on lower settings, but still). It would make a great alternative workstation for you or a budget system for someone whose work doesn't put a lot of stress on computers. It's small and portable, which means it would work for people on the go or people working in confined spaces. In fact, compared to the previous generation we've shared deals on before, this system is even more powerful because it upgrades to a Pentium processor instead of Celeron.

The system comes with almost everything you need to get up and running. The two things you'll have to buy separately are the internal storage and the RAM. The NUC can fit a 2.5-inch drive like this Samsung 860 EVO 500GB SSD, which is on sale as well. The RAM can hold a maximum of 8GB DDR4 memory, so you'll want something like this 2 x 4GB GeIL EVO set. Once you install those, which this system makes very easy to do, you can plug in your favorite monitor, keyboard, and mouse and it's like you just built a new computer.
