Xbox One controller

Microsoft announced plans to release a wireless adapter for current Xbox game controllers that will allow them to be used wirelessly on Windows PCs. The adapter will be sold sometime later in 2015 but a price point was not mentioned.

Microsoft also announced today, "All wireless Xbox gaming accessories will be designed for and supported on both Xbox One consoles and Windows 10 PCs moving forward." That's definitely good news since Microsoft is promoting its cross-buy and even cross-play plans for games released for the Xbox One and Windows 10 device.

Speaking which, Neowin reports, via unnamed sources, that Microsoft has plans to announce what they have labeled a "hardcore" game controller for E3 2015 in June. The story did not have any more details on what this controller will be like.
