A few weeks back I reviewed the Samsung Notebook 9 15 Ext. I argued it's one of the best 15-inch laptops on the market if you need something that's not a 2-in-1 or has a touch screen.

While those are omissions deal breakers for some of you (Samsung does make a "Pro" version with them), many people still value a straight up laptop - including myself.

So, what makes the Samsung Notebook 9 15 Ext so impressive?

  • It's a 15-inch that weighs just 2.7lbs (1.22kg), which is bonkers.
  • It has a huge, super smooth Precision touchpad.
  • It gets off the chart good battery life easily going past ten hours – even with a discrete GPU (NVIDIA 940MX).
  • It has a full Thunderbolt 3 USB Type-C port that even works with a Razer Core external GPU.

Did I mention the display can do HDR as well?
