Microsoft has already announced it plans to add Messaging Everywhere support in Windows 10. Now a new video shows how this feature will work, which will allow SMS messages to be send from a smartphone to a desktop PC.

WinBeta managed to check out an unreleased build of Windows 10 Mobile with this feature:

How does it work? Well, using your Microsoft Account, the new Messaging apps sync your conversations to the cloud, and beam them to which-ever device is requesting them. For example, sending a text on your desktop will beam that message to the cloud, then your phone will sync that message and send it via its cellular connection. It happens very quickly too, almost instant.

The new feature will be included in a future Windows Insider build of Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile.
