Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade brings explosive mech warfare to Windows 10 PC, Mobile

Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade is now available on the Windows Store for Windows 10 PC and Mobile. And even if you haven't dipped your toes into the Warhammer universe yet, you're definitely in for a treat if you're partial to explosive mech warfare.

The Warhammer franchise isn't one to shy away from over the top action, and Freeblade is no exception. The story of the game puts you in the shoes of a young Imperial Knight as you join up with a chapter of the Space Marines following the destruction of your noble house. Throughout 170 missions, you'll tear apart other mechs and enemies as you upgrade and customize your Freeblade.

Given its level of visual fidelity, Freeblade looks like it will require a somewhat beefy phone if you're looking to play it on Mobile. The minimum specs require 2GB of RAM and 1GB of video memory, while 4GB of RAM and 2GB of video memory are recommended.

You can grab Freeblade for free from the Windows Store now, but be aware that there are in-app purchases.
