After weeks of speculation, Activision revealed Spyro Reignited Trilogy to the world a few months ago. The company previously stated that he was "all scaled up and ready to flare up" on September 21, 2018, but that won't be happening. A few days ago, developer Toys for Bob provided a statement to IGN, announcing a delay until November 13.

To somewhat make up for the delay, Activision revealed an extended look at the Xbox One version of the game at Gamescom 2018. The visuals are gorgeous to say the least, and the frame rate seems stable too at 30 FPS. We haven't played any of the Spyro games in years, so it's refreshing to see that the sense of humor still holds up.

Hopefully the game will be a polished experience when it launches on Xbox One and other platforms this holiday season. We'll keep you posted as soon as we know more about the title, like its Xbox One X enhancements. Just like Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, it's expected to run at native 4K resolution on Microsoft's new system.

You can currently preorder Spyro Reignited Trilogy for $39.99 at retailers like Amazon and the Microsoft Store. Unlike Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, it's great to see that this collection is coming to all platforms at the same time. Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was a PlayStation 4 exclusive for a year.
