Windows 10

Microsoft released Windows 10 build 10240 to Windows Insider members earlier this week, but users should be on the lookout for a small update to the build today. The download is going to be a small one, however, to fix some security and bug fixes.

Windows Insider head Gabriel Aul revealed the plans for the update on his Twitter account:

"We're releasing an update package on WU for PC build 10240 today. It will install automatically or you can check for updates to grab it."

"It will be described as a security update, but that's just because it's cumulative and includes the last package's security fix."

"It is a package of fixes based on reported issues in 10240."

There likely won't be a formal change log for this update, but it's always good to keep your PC up to date with the latest version. Microsoft is still scheduled to begin the public rollout of Windows 10 on July 29.
