WordPress for Windows Phone updated, introduces full screen editing

The official app for the Windows Phone platform has been bumped to version 1.9, up from 1.7 that rolled out back in November. We're witnessing some speedy updating from the WordPress team, which is welcomed for consumers who utilise blogs using the free CMS. So what's new in the latest release?

WordPress for Windows Phone now sports full screen content creation, which enables the user to view the editor while making use of the screen real estate in its entirety. Featured images are also able to be uploaded, should a WordPress theme support such optional material.

Also, an array of bug fixes and optimisations have been included to further enhance stability and performance of the app - almost 20 bugs and crashes have been addressed. It's a worthy upgrade to a reliable and popular blogging solution for Windows Phone.

You can download WordPress from the Windows Phone Store for free. Thanks everyone who tipped us!
