This morning, popular list-making app Wunderlist released their long awaited version 3, with over 60 improvements onboard. The top-rated app has a large presence on Apple's iOS and Google's Android, and there is even a version for Amazon's Kindle. Wunderlist did have an app for Windows Phone, but like some other apps (cough, IMDB, cough) it has withered and died.

Now, the company has made it official that Wunderlist 3 is heading to the Windows ecosystem, and it looks to be a universal app.

News of this possibility happened a few weeks ago, but the company is now listing Windows and Windows Phone on their site as 'coming soon,' making development a done deal. However, there is no ETA on when those apps will be finished, but with the increasing ease of Windows cross developing, it should not take the developers too long to push out something. The developers so comment on it though in their latest blog post:

"We're happy to announce that we'll be launching Wunderlist 3 for Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8! It's almost ready for release, so keep an eye out for more news shortly."

Regardless if you use Wunderlist or not, many people on competing platforms do. Missing apps like Wunderlist keep them from switching to the Windows Phone OS. The more, the merrier.
