Xbox One game streaming is now available on the Oculus Rift, allowing you to play your console games on the VR headset. Much like its implementation on Windows 10 PCs, game streaming will start the game on your Xbox One and stream gameplay over your home network to the Oculus Rift in a dedicated app.

While it's a far cry from full VR gaming, game streaming lets you simulate playing games on a gigantic screen in a virtual environment. Whether you're taking on Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, or any other Xbox One game, you'll be able to play in three different environments from the start — each titled "Citadel," "Retreat," and "Dome."

If you happen to own both an Xbox One and Oculus Rift, you can get started now by grabbing the Xbox One Streaming app for Oculus Rift now. Also give us a shout in the comments and let us know what you think once you've had a chance to try it!
