There are over 100 million people who already play this game, and now Windows Phone users can join the fun. It costs $6.99 without a trial, so some of you might be hesitant to give it a chance. We've installed it on our Lumia 1520, so watch our hands-on video before pressing that buy button.

If you are tired of the same old same old with endless runner games, take a look at the Windows Phone game Octagon. It is minimal in design but by no means is the game without challenge.

You are tasked with guiding a ball down an 8 sided tunnel full of holes, gaps and obstacles to avoid. The game comes with two gaming modes, is available for low-memory Windows Phones and after playing Octagon for the past few days, it comes across as a fun time waster of a game.

Punfound is a relatively new Windows Phone word game that has you filling in the blanks and completing a series of puns. For example, you are given a picture of a briefcase and you have to complete the pun "Just in …"

Some of the puns are humorous, some a little obscure and others you have to scratch your head to figure out. The game, which is available for low-memory Windows Phones, contains over 300 pun puzzles to solve with more puns available through in-app purchase. Punfound has had a decent level of success on Android and iOS devices and hopes some of that success carries over to our platform. The game has potential and has its fair share of challenges, but Punfound may end up being more of an acquired taste than an across the board hit.

Windows Central Roundup: Top Disney Windows Phone Games

Over the past few years, Disney has quietly built a nice collection of games in the Windows Phone Store. They stand out in part because of the popularity the main characters that inspire these games as well as the quality of the games themselves.

We sifted through the twenty some odd Disney games currently available in the Windows Phone Store and plucked half a dozen of the top rated titles to highlight in this week's roundup. All can be entertaining titles to have in your Windows Phone gaming library to help you pass the time and cure that video game itch.

Well, you are a night security and you just got hired at Freddy's. Good luck.

One of my all-time favorite games launched without a version available for the new generation of games consoles. We're talking Grand Theft Auto V, of course. Despite being restricted to the relatively aged Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 systems, it was still one of the absolute greatest games ever made.

Around a year on from that, GTA V is back. Back for a grand re-launch, and this time around we can play it on the Xbox One. It has been given a spruce up to take advantage of the new hardware, but at its heart it's the same game we've seen before. All the crimes, capers, shooting, and driving you could want, both in single-player and online.

So should you buy it? Is it worth playing for a second time? Let's find out.

If you're not tired of puzzle games yet, here's another one to check out. Knox's Room is a challenging physics puzzle game, which the general goal involves causing a specific object to move, float or fall in a particular direction. It has been out for a while now, but it's worth mentioning because it is a free game that supports both Windows and Windows Phone. Want to see it in action? Watch our gameplay video on the Surface Pro 3 and the Lumia 930.

You may remember that back at CES 2014 in January, we got a live demo of Brothers In Arms 3: Sons of War from the folks at Gameloft. At the time, the World War II-themed game was supposed to be released later that quarter. That date came and went with no such launch but this week Gameloft has confirmed that Brothers In Arms 3 will finally be released later in December for Windows Phone and other platforms.

Ninja+ is an extremely simple Windows Phone game that can be frustratingly challenging and mildly addictive. You are tasked with helping a ninja warrior cross a series of platforms by stretching a stick to just the right length.

Available for low-memory Windows Phones, you shouldn't be shocked if your high scores stay in the single digits until you get a handle on judging distances and timing with building your bridges. While at times you may have the urge to pull your hair out with Ninja+, it's a fun game to have around when you need help passing the time.
