Head of Xbox Japan stepping down to work at Microsoft HQ

Microsoft's Head of Xbox in Japan, Takashi Sensui, is leaving that position for one at the company's Redmond, Washington headquarters. This follows months of poor sales of the Xbox One in Japan. The console sold just 23,562 units in its first four days.

Sensui has led Xbox Japan for the last eight years, and will still be working with that team in his new position in Redmond as the General Manager for the Interactive Entertainment Business. As part of the Xbox team, Sensui will support Xbox Japan as part of that team's reorganization.
