Xbox Music

Azealia Banks – Broke With Expensive Taste

Broke with Expensive Taste is the long-awaited debut album from Azealia Banks. It finally dropped earlier this week and is receiving positive acclaim so far. Banks has talent, but the album jumps around a bit from genre to genre. Check out the single Heavy Metal and Reflective to get an idea for what you'll find on this album. [Hip hop]

arca – Xen

Here's something different from producer arca. You might not know who arca is, but you've certainly heard his work with other artists. He's worked Kanye West on Yeezus and on the debut album for FKA Twigs. Xen is his own little experimental album and it's a trip. [Electronic / Dance]

Tracks worth checking

Xbox Video

Forget the critics. You just want to watch The Rock be Hercules. The movie didn't fare to well this summer in theaters, maybe this extended edition on Xbox Video is better. Rent and find out. [Unrated, 1 hr 41 min]

Angelina Jolie plays the witch from Sleeping Beauty in Disney's Maleficent. It's so-so from critics, but you can now rent it on Xbox Video if you're in a Disney mood. It's rated PG, so the whole family should be able to enjoy this movie together. [PG, 1 hr 33 min]

A Most Wanted Man

A Most Wanted Man might just be the best reviewed movie out this week to rent. It's also the last of Philip Seymour Hoffman's films released before his death. The movie is an espionage-thriller and is based on the novel of the same name by John le Carré. The movie flew under the radar here in the US, so now's your chance to experience it yourself. [R, 2 hr 2 min]
