Tineco introduced a new kind of modern living at CES 2026 — Here's an inside look at its innovative products
Tineco wowed us with its unique demo at CES 2026. Here's how it's revolutionizing cleaning.
CES 2026 was packed with some of the best PC hardware we've ever seen, but, as with any year, the show didn't just cater to Windows fans. During our time poking around the show floor, we came across one booth that set itself apart from the rest in a major way.
Tineco, one of the global leaders in intelligent home appliances, came to CES toting a home disguised as an interactive booth in order to properly deliver an intimate, hands-on experience with its latest products.
Tineco described its setup to us as an immersive area "where thoughtful engineering, refined design, and everyday simplicity meet." We were hooked immediately, even before we were offered an engaging introduction to the company's latest smart home products for modern living spaces.
With a wide range of products designed to suit your personal needs — including the FLOOR ONE S9 Scientist and the FLOOR ONE i7 Fold — we were happy to engage in a thorough demonstration as to how Tineco can elevate your cleaning experience at home. Here's what you can expect from the impressive new lineup.
Design-forward modern cleaning
The offer to try out Tineco's newest products at its unique CES display was too good to pass up. But it wasn't only about trying; it was also about learning. Nathan Fett, Director of Sales, stood by to give us all the finer details. The demo started with the FLOOR ONE S9 Artist Steam, a uniquely designed cordless steam floor washer.
As Fett explains, the S9 Artist Steam “features smart technology [iLoop Smart Sensor] that will automatically detect what’s on the floor and adjust the performance accordingly. It will tell you when the floor is dirty, when it’s clean, and you can move onto the next.”
Because it's a floor washer, it's not just vacuuming up a mess; it's also dropping clean water mixed with cleaning solution, all while keeping it separate from the dirty water it's sucking up. Have a particularly messy patch? A HyperSteam mode can be activated with the push of a button and monitored with a convenient, easy-to-read thumb screen.
The S9 Artist Steam can also talk to you, letting you know when it needs a cleaning. Best part? All you need to do is press a button to activate the FlashDry self-cleaning mode. Just rinse out the dirty water tank, and you're ready for more powerful, quiet, and effortless cleaning in your modern home.
Tineco's futuristic twist
We were then moved into what Tineco called "The Innovation Lab" to check out the new FLOOR ONE S9 Scientist. If you're a fan of LED accents, bold lighting, and appliances that certainly don't look like they're hand-me-downs, this is the way to go.
It's similar to the S9 Artist, Fett explains, but with a functional twist: “It’s a really cool design, really tech forward, but functionality-wise, operates the same. We’re incorporating the scraper that helps capture more of that water, it’s coming down only when you’re pulling back."
This StreakFree Scraper delivers quick-dry polishing without residual water stains. Altogether, the S9 Scientist lifts dirt when pushed forward and scrapes off stains when pulled back, helped along by massive 22,000Pa suction.
Packed with innovative features
Next, we were introduced to a flagship from Tineco's Master series, the FLOOR ONE S9 Master. Fett describes it as "a little bit more simplified, a little bit more cost-effective for people, but still a lot of the great technologies." What technologies, you ask? An iLoop Smart Sensor, heated dry, Quiet Mode, and DustReveal green headlight.
Did I mention it can automatically detect what it's up against with Auto Mode, or the high-pressure hot water spray for precision stain removal?
What Fett and the Tineco team really like about this model, as well as the others we tested out, is the innovative clean water tank. Fett explains: "By placing the water tank at the head, it improves the manoeuvrability, the ability to swivel, because it reduces the center of gravity, which also means less weight on your wrist.”
With all of these features, we wanted to know how long the battery lasts. According to Fett, the model we tested at CES has "more than enough runtime to basically clean an entire house." More precisely, Tineco's lab data shows that, in Quiet Mode, the S9 Master is capable of running for up to 65 minutes on a charge.
Designed for compact, urban living
The final step on our journey through Tineco's home-away-from-home was the FLOOR ONE i7 Fold, an appliance specifically geared toward smaller living spaces. As you might have already guessed, it has a 180-degree foldable tube that lets the main portion lie flat to better reach low areas. There's even a small wheel that rolls along seamlessly when in flat mode to prevent scratches.
Equally important to overall size in a small home is weight. You don't want to lug around a heavy appliance, and thankfully, the i7 Fold is super lightweight at just 3.5kg.
"What's really nice about this is it articulates, so you don't even have to bend down to get under a couch, under a bed," says Fett, praising the i7 Fold. "It still has all the same functionality, but again this is prioritizing convenience and weight over absolute power. Really, really good for small space."
We eventually had to leave Tineco's incredibly clean CES booth, but one thing was apparent: Tineco wants to provide the best cleaning appliances for all types of modern living.
Fett left us with some final words, reiterating the company's stance: "What we at Tineco try to do is build products that have functionalities for whatever your use case is. Not everybody needs the big, powerful workhorse. Some people just need something like this to get it clean and we have products that at any price range will work for you."
