The award-winning game Monument Valley makes its Windows Phone debut

UK-based developer ustwo has released a Windows Phone version of their acclaimed and award-winning game Monument Valley. The puzzle game is now available in the Windows Phone Store for the price of $3.99

The game was first released for iOS and Android in 2014 and has received a ton of great reviews and awards, including the top prize at the 2014 International Mobile Gaming Awards. Our sister site iMore named it the best iOS game of 2014, thanks to its beautiful art style and its challenging gameplay. Here's a quick description:

"In Monument Valley you will manipulate impossible architecture and guide a silent princess through a stunningly beautiful world. Monument Valley is a surreal exploration through fantastical architecture and impossible geometry. Guide the silent princess Ida through mysterious monuments, uncovering hidden paths, unfolding optical illusions and outsmarting the enigmatic Crow People."

Note that this is the full version of Monument Valley, with the Forgotten Shores expansion available as an in-app purchase for $1.99.

It's possible that this game is a direct iOS port via the Objective-C code, as Microsoft showed at Build 2015 with Candy Crush Saga. Even better news: Monument Valley is compatible with 512MB Windows Phone devices.
