Go To for Windows Phone 8 gets updated, adds new voice commands and UI makeover

Go To is a navigation app for our Windows Phone 8 where you look up destinations and create voice commands to generate travel directions to that particular address. It makes retrieving saved destinations rather simple.

Go To was updated today to version 2.0 that includes a few new voice commands and a user interface makeover. New voice commands allows you to initiated searches by saying "Go to search" and loads all contacts into the app for voice commands.

The user interface has been redesigned to provide a list and map view of your search results at the same time.

Other features with the version 2.0 update includes a point selection where you can tap/hold a point on the map and pull up information, the auto-complete feature is smarter with the addition of recent searches and places, and you have a GPS accuracy bubble.

The point selection tool can come in handy in that it not only pulls up the address of where you're tapping and holding, but also options to get driving directions, mass transit information, place a call to that location (if available) and generate a voice command for that point.

The updated definitely puts a little meat on the bones for this navigation app. Go To is a free app for your Windows Phone 8 device that you can find here in the Windows Phone Store.
