Third-party video conversion app WhatsApp Video Optimizer gets a minor update

Third-party app WhatsApp Video Optimizer has picked up a update that sees a minor change in the encoding settings. Now, when you select the videos you want to compress that you want to share on WhatsApp, the fast encoding option is set as default.

That's about it for today's update. The app allows you to easily compress and reduce the resolution of your video to meet WhatsApp's 16MB threshold for videos. The resized videos are saved in a folder called WhatsApp Optimized, and there's even the ability to record from within the app itself. You also have the ability to share the finished videos directly on WhatsApp after the conversion is finished.
