Not only can you update your status on various networks, but the app also supports image upload, check-in, and more.

Tetra Lockscreen, one of many apps in the Microsoft Garage project, has evidently been removed from the Windows Phone Store. The app infamously did not work on the Lumia 1520, due to an incompatibility bug that was being worked on, but for other phones like the Lumia 830 it worked just fine.

Reports started coming in early February that the app had gone missing, but some of it appeared to be regional or specific phone related. However, now it seems that for all Windows Phones, the app is indeed gone.

The crew at Telegram Messenger Beta have noted a massive increase in popularity in South America, which is why they've rolled out an update that allows the service to scale in the region. The sudden increase in users has to do with a ban imposed on WhatsApp in Brazil on February 27 over violent images shared on the network.

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) app for Windows Phone has been updated today, with a few minor but interesting features added for users of India's railroad system. The update allows users to login to the app using their IRCTC password or TPIN, which can be generated from the website. Also new is the ability to serve toast notifications, allowing users to get notified about upcoming travels even when they're not in the app.

Today at MWC 2015, Acer has announced their Liquid Leap+ smart wearable. It can track the user's steps, running distance and calories burned. It also supports notifications and playback control.
