Xbox is hitting Windows 10 in a big way later this year.

Announced back in January, Xbox will receive a dedicated app for Windows 10, providing Game DVR for all PC games, access to your Xbox One social features and game streaming across devices in your home network. In addition to this, independent developers will be able to include Xbox APIs into their games that appear in the Windows app store via the ID@Xbox program, currently available only on Xbox One.

I caught up with ID@Xbox head Chris Charla to discuss how the program has been faring so far, ID@Xbox for Windows 10 (phones too!), and more!

[Update] Looks like the Game + Expansion Pass Bundle is receiving that same 10% discount. The expansion pass will include both expansion packs for the game that will add 30+ hours of gameplay to the existing game. Both packs are launching later this year. The Game + Expansion Pass bundle will normally set you back $84.99, but thanks to that 10% digital discount you can grab it from the store for $76.49.

Yesterday, CD Projekt Red announced that The Witcher 3 went gold just in time for its May 19 release next month. Now, the game has now become available for pre-order and pre-download for the Xbox One. However, that's not the biggest news coming out today.

Review: Oddworld: New n' Tasty for Xbox One

Oddworld: New n' Tasty is a ground-up reconstruction of Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, a legendary PS1 puzzle platformer.

Developed in conjunction with Oddworld Inc. and Just Add Water, New n' Tasty has hit 2.4 million sales to date, partially owing to its usage of Unity, a popular games engine for targeting multiple platforms.

It's difficult to review a game that holds so much nostalgia for me personally. I spent countless hours as a kid meticulously rescuing each and every Mudokon throughout the game's sprawling side-scrolling world. New n' Tasty hopes to both serve fans of the classic Oddysee, as well as bring in new fans for its truly Odd franchise.

Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 is the follow up to 2013's Xbox 360 hit that brought the addictive fruit slicing game from phones to your living room. As where the original game was a Kinect version of the mobile app, this time it adds some unique gameplay modes that are only available on Xbox One. That being said, the limitations of Kinect are still its biggest drawback.

Update: An Xbox One engineer has confirmed on reddit that game streaming is not a part of the May update, but emphasised that the feature is still being developed. (via XboxMAD)

Original post:

Xbox's Major Nelson took to Twitter yesterday to mention that a dashboard preview update would be rolling out, and that it would mostly contain bug fixes and refinements for April's update. The Major also noted that May's new features would arrive for preview members later this month.

Today's patch may have given us a clue as to what exactly will be in that feature update. The preferences section now lists "Allow game streaming to other devices (beta)" underneath System & App settings.

State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition is set to infect Xbox One on April 28th

State of Decay was a 360 sleeper hit, which provided a unique take on the zombie apocalypse paradigm. In State of Decay, you control and manage an entire community of survivor NPCs, tending their wounds, fatigue, equipment and so on, as you make your way through a sprawling contemporary open world setting.

The Year One Survival Edition comprises State of Decay, as well as the add-ons Breakdown, Lifeline, and a trunk load of other improvements (including the ability to use car trunks!)

Beyond Flesh and Blood is an ambitious third person shooter with horror over tones, slated for a full release on Xbox One, PS4, PC and Linux in Q4 2015.

Pixel Bomb Games were established in 2011 and are based in Manchester, which also serves as the game's setting - which as far as I know, makes it a world first for one of the UK's largest cities.

A couple of big name game titles are now available across Xbox One and PC, with Mortal Kombat X and the long awaited arrival of GTA V on the PC. Lots of unnecessary violence, for sure.

Mortal Kombat X sees its global launch across PC, Xbox One and PS4, while for Rockstar's epic this is now the third time on a third platform the title has launched.
