Here's the custom ASUS GTX 1070 Strix Gaming video card

ASUS has revealed the company's GTX 1070 offering, which will be the first graphics card from the manufacturer to take advantage of the new DirectCU III cooler and AURA RGB lighting. You'll not only be able to fine tune performance of the card, but also the rather subtle lighting setup that should complement anyone's PC build.

The accompanying AURA suite will allow owners to control RGB lighting for not only the GPU, but connected mice, keyboards and more, and as expected there's an out-the-box performance boost when compared to the founders edition. As noted by OC3D, base clock speeds are bumped to 1683MHz while the card can jump up to 1,885MHz for the more demanding tasks.

For power, there will be both 8 and 6-pin connectors. You could even connect some case fans to the card and have them spin up faster when the GPU gets hot, as opposed to relying on motherboard and CPU sensors. We'll hopefully have more details on availability and pricing soon enough, but for now you'll be able to pre-order the GTX 1070 Founders Edition on June 10.

Will you be picking up a reference card, or shall you hold out for an OEM? Let us know who you plan to go with in the comments!
