Microsoft's HoloLens Agency Readiness Partner Program takes a step into Europe

As HoloLens continues its expansion around the globe, so too are Microsoft's partnerships around the mixed reality headset. Starting today, Microsoft has expanded its official HoloLens Agency Readiness Partner Program to include 6 new companies, all with a focus on Europe.

Here's a look at all 6 new companies being added to the program with today's move:

  • Black Marble (U.K.)
  • Fundamental VR (U.K.)
  • Holoforge (France)
  • Immersion (France)
  • REWIND (U.K.)
  • Zuhlke (Germany)

For those unfamiliar, Microsoft's HoloLens Agency Readiness Partner Program is just one spoke in a wheel of ways to help companies develop mixed reality applications to fit their needs. Partners in the program go through specific training with Microsoft, which they then use to help other companies around the globe develop their HoloLens applications and solutions. Partners have already worked with the likes of Anheuser Busch, Major League Soccer, and Lowe's to develop some custom applications leveraging HoloLens.

These 6 latest additions to the program join the previous 10 partners covering the U.S. and Canada that Microsoft announced at Build 2016. Ultimately with more official agency partners in the wild, HoloLens should see further growth with commercial partners around the globe.
