Out This Week on Xbox One: Halo: MCC, Assassin's Creed Unity, Terraria, and more

We're into the home stretch, 2014! This week is probably one of the biggest of 2014, so get your wallets ready. As we all know, this week Microsoft will be unleashing Halo: The Master Chief Collection to your living rooms as what is probably the biggest Xbox One release of the year. Ubisoft also has a pair of games coming out. One features a master assassin while the other is a lesser known title and is Kinect only. A superhero makes his first debut on Xbox one as well as indie hit Terraria. Continue reading for the full list of this week's releases.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection

Master Chief will finally make his debut this week on the Xbox One and it a huge one. Halo: The Master Chief Collection comes with Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4. This collection allows you to play Master Chief's and Cortana's journey all on one disc. That being said most of the attention was given to Halo 2 for its 10th year anniversary. The Halo 2 anniversary features a completely remastered single player campaign that runs at nearly 1080p in 60fps. The multiplayer runs at 1080p 60fps and features 6 completely remastered maps.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection also comes with the highly anticipated motion picture Halo: Nightfall as well as a beta for Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer. Halo: The Master Chief Collection arrives tomorrow November 11.

Assassin's Creed Unity

Take control of the brotherhood

Assassin's Creed Unity is Ubisoft's first take on a cooperative Assassin's Creed experience. You can play with up to four of your friends as you guys traverse around Paris during the French Revolution. In Assassin's Creed Unity, you play as Arno Dorian who was born to an Assassin father in Versailles. After your father is killed, you are taken in by a Templar Grandmaster. Once your Templar father is killed, you join the Brotherhood of Assassin's to avenge your father's death and take down the Templar Order.

Assassin's Creed Unity has a completely revamped fighting system as well as a new appreciation for stealth gameplay. Assassin's Creed Unity launches tomorrow November 11.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham

Batman goes to outer space

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham has Batman teaming up with other DC Comics superheroes in order to stop Brainiac from destroying earth. Play as more than 150 DC Comics' characters and villains from '66 Batman voiced by Adam West to Green Arrow voiced by Arrow actor Stephen Amell. The game also features iconic DC locations such as the Justice League Watchtower and the Hall of Justice. LEGO Batman 3 comes out tomorrow November 11.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2015

Take control of the pitch

Pro Evolution Soccer makes its next gen debut with this year's 2015 installment. PES 2015 uses the power of the FOX engine to allow for a beautiful realistic looking game. This year's version of PES features highly advanced AI that is constantly adjusting to what is happening on the pitch in real time. It also you to take full control of your team whether you are on offense or defense. New dribbling skills allow for a more realistic way to outmaneuver your opponents, while new defensive controls allow you to choose how or when to close down, tackle, or hold up play. Konami's take on world class soccer begins tomorrow on November 11.

Shape Up

Working out has never been this fun

Shape Up is a Kinect exclusive title from Ubisoft that mashes the fun of playing games with the hard work of exercising. Shape Up helps you strengthen your lower and upper body as well as your core, and even helps you improve your endurance. Some of the wacky workouts included are doing push-ups with an elephant on your back, squat your way to the moon, and use your abs to vaporize aliens. Shape Up allows users to play 90 second training sessions or enroll in a 4-week workout program that has you completing three 15-minute workout sessions per week. Shape Up helps you shape up starting tomorrow November 11.

Terraria

Create what your heart desires

Terraria is the open-ended sandbox game that focuses on surviving enemies while exploring for supplies and building shelter. Imagine if Minecraft featured 2D sprites and was released for the SNES. This is what essentially Terraria is. Use your tools to collect resources or build the ultimate shelter or to fight unwanted enemies. You can then use these resources to craft new tools or new equipment or miscellaneous items. Then you can dig your way into caves where there is an abundance of magic and monsters waiting to destroy you as you look for treasure chests and unique items. Terraria allows you to craft your world beginning Friday November 14.

Pure Pool

Pool with a controller has never looked so good

Pure Pool 8 brings pool hall games to your living room. It features slick graphics as well as online multiplayer. It features 4 game modes from American 8 Ball Pool to Killer, and 4 challenges from Perfect Potter to Royal Rumble. Pure Pool also has what it calls your DNA profile which tracks the way you play so that your friends can play an AI interpretation of yourself even when you aren't around to play. Pure Pool 8 breaks onto Xbox One this Friday November 14.
