What you need to know

  • Acer has announced a major 2022 refresh for its Acer Aspire C27 and C24 All-in-One (AIO) workstation PCs.
  • Updated specs include 12th Gen Intel processors, NVIDIA GeForce MX550 graphics, and more.
  • It's unclear when these refreshed PCs will be available or how much they will cost, but we expect to see them hit the market at some point in early 2022.

While they're not the flashiest devices out there, All-in-One (AIO) PCs are nevertheless one of the best types of computers you can buy if you're in need of a productivity-focused machine that's both capable and compact. If you've been looking to get one, there has never been a better time to do so; ahead of CES 2022, Acer has announced a refresh of its Aspire C27 and C24 AIO PCs.

The latest variant of the Aspire C27 and C24 features an advanced 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce MX550 GPU for improved speed and efficiency, up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM, up to 1TB of PCIe Gen 3 SSD storage, up to 2TB HDD storage, and Windows 11 installed. Additionally, both PCs also come with a 5.0 MP webcam, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and Thunderbolt 4, as well as Acer-specific features such as Acer PurifiedVoice and Acer TrueHarmony. The former uses beam-forming technology to "follow" you around a room to ensure your voice is heard loud and clear, while the latter enhances your audio experience with more bass and volume.

The only real difference between these AIOs is their size; as their names suggest, the Acer Aspire C27 has a 27-inch display while the Acer Aspire C24 has a 24-inch display. Both panels are Full HD and have support for touch, giving users added flexibility while they work.

Acer hasn't confirmed exactly when these PCs will be available to buy or how much they'll cost, but we expect that they'll be available at some point in early 2022. Based on what we know about the quality hardware in their chassis, these AIOs will likely become some of the best All-in-One PCs available.
