Astroneer's Exploration update is now live on Xbox One and PC, bringing with it some new items that players can try out, and several quality of life and bug fixes. Because no one likes a buggy game.
Explore and reshape distant worlds! Astroneer is set during the 25th century Intergalactic Age of Discovery, where Astroneers explore the frontiers of outer space, risking their lives in harsh environments to unearth rare discoveries and unlock the mysteries of the universe.
As you can see from its patch notes, it adds a few welcome items to the game including a jet pack, jump jet, small camera, glowsticks, and a field shelter. They each cost resources and bytes to create. On top of that, players can now manually toggle the orientation of the medium storage.
