Firefly star Adam Baldwin lends his voice in upcoming RPG Star Control: Origins

Adam Baldwin, better known as Jayne Cobb in the hit series Firefly and movie Serenity, is going to be starring in Stardock's upcoming space RPG Star Control: Origins. The game is scheduled to be released on September 20 for PC, offering fans of the original series to explore a new universe and (hopefully) save humanity from extinction. I checked out the preview to see how the game handles in the Sol system and came away wanting more.

To make the experience even better, Stardock has brought onboard someone with vast amounts of acting experience. Baldwin will not be portraying a role on your ship, nor will he be part of the Scryve. He will, instead, will be playing a rogue mercenary commander of the Menkmack, pursuing the player on behalf of an unknown client. "Great stories matter, and I'm looking forward to being part of the story the Stardock team is telling with Star Control: Origins," Baldwin commented on the announcement.

As aforementioned, Star Control: Origins will be released on September 20 for PC. Stardock currently has a discount running for those who wish to get ahead and preorder for $34.99.
