Flipkart.com is one of the leading online retailers from India, and offers a broad selection of products across diverse categories.
Flipkart launched their official Windows Phone in April this year, and we also wrote about the v1.1.0.0 update a few weeks. The app has now been bumped up to v1.2.0.0, and adds a few new features and improves the experience. Apart from some bug fixes and enhancements, the latest update also reflects Flipkart’s new brand identity.
The latest update brings Flipkart First to the app. Like Amazon Prime, Flipkart First is the company’s annual paid subscription service for shoppers who wish to get exclusive benefits and priority customer service. The latest version now offers push notifications and Enhanced Search with spell corrections, along with Pin Code filter for large appliances.
Also, Flipkart eBooks app for Windows Phone also picked up a small update. The v2.0.0.4 version comes a few weeks after the major refresh of the app that came along with the last update – v2.0.0.0. The update improves reader performance and fixes the reader crashes. The app now also supports links and flick-to-change pages in the reader.
