Xbox added its new logo to dynamic backgrounds faster than I expected, as CEO Asha Sharma confirms: "Dropping today"

After previously teasing that Xbox was working on a dynamic background featuring its new logo, the glass-like reflective design that brings back that striking green, the turnaround has been quick.

Just four days ago, Xbox CEO Asha Sharma replied to a fan asking for a dynamic background of the new logo with a simple “working on it!” That direct, to-the-point response has become something of a trend lately.

For those who don’t know, Xbox has had a solid lineup of dynamic backgrounds, profile backgrounds, and gamer pics for a while now. If you’re looking to change your dynamic background, here’s how to do it:

  • Press the Xbox button on your controller.
  • Go to Settings and select it.
  • Under General, select Personalization.
  • Go to “My background.
  • Select “Dynamic backgrounds.”
  • Choose the dynamic background you want.

It’s great seeing Xbox deliver on what it says, and do it quickly. That kind of follow-through has been noticeable lately, and it’s impressive.

Sure, revenue is down, but the overall vibe of being an Xbox fan right now feels genuinely positive. It’s a welcome change.

As for the new dynamic backgrounds, profile backgrounds, and gamer pics, I’ll be sticking with my tried-and-true Halo Infinite background. For some reason, I still love the franchise, despite what feels like a decade or more of missteps, but hey, that’s just me.

Will you be using Xbox’s new dynamic backgrounds, profile backgrounds, or gamer pics? Or will you stick with what you already have?
