Hands-on with Acer's ConceptD 9 Pro, a 'portable Surface Studio'

Of all of Acer's IFA 2019 announcements, the new ConceptD 9 Pro laptop is arguably the most unique. Built for professional design studios — with a hefty price to match — the ConceptD 9 Pro combines NVIDIA Quadro 5000 graphics with an Intel Core i9 processor and more.

What makes the ConceptD 9 Pro particularly interesting, however, is its hinged display. The screen can be titled, flipped, and moved into several different positions to make collaboration with team members and sketching with the Wacom pen easier. • "is arguably the most unique." Not really that unique. There's been a few machines that have used this type of design. (Dell Inspiron Duo, for example).
