What you need to know

  • HyperX introduced a trio of new officially licensed Xbox One accessories today.
  • There are two new headsets, along with a charging dock for controllers.
  • The new HyperX ChargePlay Duo is available now for $30, while the CloudX Chat and CloudX Stinger headsets are available for $25 and $50, respectively.

HyperX today unveiled a new line of officially licensed Xbox One accessories. The line includes three accessories, which include a dual charging stand for Xbox One controllers, along with two headsets. All three are priced fairly competitively for budget-conscious gamers.

First up is the ChargePlay Duo controller dock. This is the first licensed charging station from HyperX, and it's designed to top off standard Xbox One and Xbox One Elite wireless controllers "in three hours or less," according to HyperX. The dock accepts two 1300mAh rechargable battery packs at a time, and includes LEDs to show the charging status for each controller.

The new HyperX CloudX Chat and CloudX Stinger headsets bring two options depending on your budget. The CloudX Chat has one ear cup with a 40mm driver, and it's focused mostly on providing a seamless chat experience with a flexible noise-canceling mic and in-line audio controls. The CloudX Stinger, meanwhile, has two 50mm drivers with an on-board volume slider, a noise-caneling mic that can be muted with a swivel, and earcups that rotate 90 degrees.

The HyperX ChargePlay Duo is available now for $30, while the CloudX Chat and CloudX Stinger headsets are available for $25 and $50, respectively.
