Nokia Lumia 710 begins global roll out

We've seen leaked images of the T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 710 and now Nokia has officially announced that their latest Windows Phone is available today in Taiwan and shipping to Singapore, Hong Kong, India and Russia within the next seven days. The global roll-out will expand to other markets in the coming weeks.

T-Mobile is still scheduled to hold an event in New York on December 14th which will be a shocker if it's not about the Lumia 710.

The Lumia 710 will sport a 3.7" screen, 5mp camera, 8GB of storage and weighs in at 4.4 ounces. Like the Lumia 800, the 710 lacks a front facing camera.  The Lumia 710 will also sport swappable battery covers so you can personalize things a bit.

Estimated retail price is 270 Euro (about $361 US).

  • See Lumia 800 is listed on Nokia.no in Norway as "coming soon" now. :)
No sign of the Lumia 710.

  • I keep seeing people complain about how ugly and/or lame this phone is, but I like the looks of it!  I REALLY like that it has the physical buttons for the three main keys...  I long for the day I don't accidentally launch search every few minutes...
  • I agree with you, the only thing I'm abit afraid of is Jessica Dalcourt from CNet said the windows key in the middle is difficult to press... guess I'll have to go play with it to know for sure

(else I would recommand this to my mom)
  • I havent had this problem, though my wife does it all the time, especially when in the middle of a game of fruit ninja.....That button needs disabling at certain times
  • ...like NETFLIX!  My 3 year old LOVES watching Curious George on my phone, but she's constantly hitting any of the 3 buttons, and though she's getting better at launching it on her own, it's frustrating for all!
  • No he said difficult to press, not easy to press :/
I love hardware keys on my LG Optimus 7, I'd feel uncomfortable getting a new Windows 7 handset without hardware buttons. The LG feels chunky/lovely :)

  • I love that yellow color. Honestly I think Windows Pone needs a good banana/yellow theme. I find myself looking for it knowing damn well it isn't there!
Yellow & white wuld make for an excellent theme espcially if you pair it with that yellow Lumia 710
  • Great phone to bundle with a package especially student plans. New Microsoft laptop plus New Nokia Windows phone for 500$ etc. I cant wait until MS releases some awesome bundles next year way better than what Apple has to offer.
  • I didn't realize until now how inexpensive the phone is. Hmm. *starts checking funds*
  • What's even better is that this phone has both a black and white 'face', with interchangeable colored backs.  Hopefully, when it hits the U.S. T-Mobile will offer both options.
  • Ima get this phone
