Samsung has announced the release of the Omnia Pro 4 Windows Phone today for European markets. It will sell for 300 EUR (about $380 USD) and it's not running Windows Phone 7. Instead, it is running Windows Mobile 6.5.3.
The phone was announced back in June and sports a 320x320, 2.6" QVGA touchscreen, 3.2 megapixel camera, Wifi connectivity, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot. It's a nice looking Windows Phone and while the Omnia Pro 4 won't see a Windows Phone 7 upgrade, it's nice to see Windows Mobile getting a little attention.

What the hell is this? Looks like Samsung Saga 4 not an Omnia and why would anyone release a winmo 6.5 device?
Developing markets, enterprise, etc. WP7 won't be available in other languages till 2011, some companies need their legacy enterprise software, some groups need low-cost, business front-qwerty devices. Think business, not consumer.
When I think business, I think Blackberry, not a device that will see no love from software developers or Microsoft themselves. There is not even an official Twitter App for this device, this is a joke!!!
Its really nice to see Windows Mobile 6.5.X getting a little attention. I am using Samsung Omnia Pro B7320 (in India) which has ditto features as Samsung Omnia 4. Mine runs on Winmo 6.1. Sadly, the apps for WinMo are not growing :(
I was waiting for it to be released. Now I can buy it.
Really Samsung has announced the release of the Omnia Pro 4 Windows Phone so I am very happy to know about this because I am waiting more time so today my search end .. Force Factor
