Halo Timeline

HALO Halo: Waypoint Chronicles – Volume One is out now, bringing together over 30 narrated Halo stories spanning the Forerunners, the Banished, and decades of Halo lore.

Following the defeat of humanity by the Forerunners, an era of peace followed ... but it didn't last. 10,000 years later, the parasitic Flood re-emerged and began a vicious offensive that brought the Forerunners to their knees.

After years of fighting, the UNSC was pushed back to their strongest system: Reach. Thought to be impenetrable, the UNSC believed the Covenant could be stopped here. They were wrong.

After the devastating fall of Reach, the crew of the Pillar of Autumn would end up making mankind's biggest discovery yet.

While Cortana's Created armies work to subjugate the galaxy, an isolated conflict between a long-lost crew and a new enemy emerges — and it may end up impacting the entire Halo universe at large.

As conflicts throughout the galaxy continue, a new force emerges — one that is lead by a friend that was thought to be dead, though she no longer is who she once was.

As the Master Chief moves forward following Cortana's apparent passing and the Didact's defeat, the UNSC Infinity returns to the planet Requiem for further investigation and analysis.

Just when it looked like all hope was lost for humanity, the Covenant began to tear itself apart due to a devastating civil war that would eventually lead to the faction's collapse.

While the rest of the galaxy attempts to heal from years of conflict, the Master Chief must put everything on the line in order to stop the Didact from ending humanity's future.

As the Prophet of Truth races to The Ark in order to activate all of the Halo rings, it's up to the UNSC and the Sangheili, led by the Master Chief and the Arbiter, to stop him ... all while trying to thwart the efforts of the Gravemind and the Flood.
