DiRT 5 received its unveiling at Microsoft's Xbox Series X showcase, a dedicated event providing the first glimpse of next-generation gameplay, with aid from third-party partners. Codemasters is among the initial wave of developers committed to next-generation upgrades, showcasing its first gameplay running on Xbox Series X hardware.
Codemasters also jumps onboard the Xbox Series X's Smart Delivery program, enabling cross-generation upgrades for supported titles. Purchasing DiRT 5 secures a version across the Xbox One family, with a free upgraded copy for Xbox Series X, pushing 4K resolution and enhanced visual fidelity.
