AT&T quietly begins selling Microsoft Lumia 640 as a pre-paid GoPhone for $79

AT&T has quietly begun selling the Microsoft Lumia 640 smartphone with Windows Phone 8.1 on its website. The carrier is offering the phone via its pre-paid GoPhone lineup for $79.99. The same phone was previously spotted in Walmart stores.
AT&T joins MetroPCS and T-Mobile with offering the Lumia 640 in the US. Here are the major hardware specs for the smartphone:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor
- 5-inch HD (1280x720) IPS LCD, 294 PPI, Glance screen, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, Sunlight readability enhancements
- 1GB RAM
- 8 GB internal mass memory + up to 128 GB Micro SD & 30GB free OneDrive cloud storage
- Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2
