Aeries once again available in the Windows Store

The Aeries universal Twitter app is now available once again from the Windows Store. Aeries originally received the universal treatment, along with a boatload of new features and tweaks, a day ago. However, the developer temporarily pulled the app after running into some token issues with Twitter. To recap, here's what's new in Aeries version 2:

  • Universal Windows Platform (Desktop!)
  • Streaming realtime updates over WiFi
  • Sunset mode automatically switching themes
  • Direct message image support and unlimited character count
  • Advanced filters for users, keywords and clients
  • Rewritten for massive performance and stability improvements
  • New design for Windows 10
  • Custom options to bookmark tweets for later
  • Translate tweets
  • Completely customizable gestures and appearance
  • New user profile design
  • Improved background tasks
  • Manage your timelines in sections
  • Unlimited user accounts

As we noted before, it's great to see this popular app make the universal transition, and it indeed looks great on desktop PCs. Be sure to hit up the Windows Store link below to grab the app for desktop, and let us know what you think in the comments!

Thanks, Dustin, for the tip!
