Last week, we asked Windows Central photographers to submit their best weather snaps for a chance to win one of three premium Pickit subscriptions, and a Lumia Treasure Tag.
We had a ton of great entries, but here are our top 3 picks!
Our first winner is Freeder, who captured this striking contrast between snow and sun. He took this picture using a Lumia 950, adding a filter in 6Tag for Instagram.
"This image was taken last Friday on a cold morning in Dresden Germany! The water condensed so much that it looked like burning fire with the rising sun in the background!"
Our second winner is Oscar Navarro Martinez with this filterless floral piece taken on a Lumia 920.
"Just after a rainy day during my vacation in Buenos Aires, Argentina."
Our final winner is GG002 with this gorgeous ice formation from Helsinki, Finland.
"I'm fascinated by these ice crystals forming on windows on cold winter days. I haven't seen them often, and I had just received my new Lumia 950 XL, so naturally, I went out on the balcony and shot this."
Congratulations to our winners, who will all receive a premium subscription to Pickit – a photo sharing network that rewards members with royalties if their photos are used in professional publications, and a Lumia Treasure Tag – which allows you to keep track of your personal belongings from your Lumia phone.
If you weren't successful this time, check back soon for another Windows Central Photos Contest. If you have any theme suggestions you'd like to see, let us know in the comments!
