First, it was Top Gun; now, it's Stargate. Bigscreen has revealed that its latest VR movie night will feature a screening of Stargate Origins. The event will allow viewers to check out the first two episodes of Stargate Origins in VR, with showtimes beginning every 30 minutes.
This is the latest in a series of virtual screening events that Bigscreen says it plans to throw throughout the year. Like the Top Gun event before it, Bigscreen's Stargate Origins screening will allow people to tune in with others in a VR theater. All you have to do to participate is grab the Bigscreen app, which is available for Windows Mixed Reality headsets, as well as other major VR platforms like Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.
According to Bigscreen, the event will begin at 3 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. ET (find your local time here) tonight (March 8). Showtimes will run every 30 minutes thereafter, concluding at 3 a.m. ET on Sunday, March 11. The good news is that, while the Top Gun screening was only available in the U.S., this screening expands things to more regions. People in the U.S., UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand will all be able to tune in.
